This is a robotic arm which was designed for a project on wheels. But because it weighs so much and there is so much strain on some of the motors it never got any further than a stationary arm.

Unlike most robotic arms the twisting wrist allows for more freedom to pick more complex objects up.

    Nice way of incorporating an old RIS motor into this robot. i am thinking of buying a few conversion cables so i can hook up my old 9V train system to my mindstorms. Maybe make an automated layout with two trains running on different tracks and switching tracks while avoiding collisions.

    The main lifting motor was still pressurised under 2 worm gears but it worked, so i left it at that.
